You get a domain map, a data flow diagram, a risk register, and a decision log. If we find something that changes the scope or the cost, we tell you before the build starts, not during it. Duration: 1–2 weeks. Fixed cost. Fixed scope. 02. **We build in two-week loops** — Scope locked at sprint start. Senior engineers on every meaningful piece of work. Working software delivered at the end of every sprint, not a progress update, not a Figma file. Technical debt goes in the backlog with a remediation plan. It is never hidden. Cadence: 2-week sprints. Milestone-based pricing. 03. **We hand off, we don't disappear** — Before close, the system goes through a hardening phase: load testing, error observability, runbook documentation, and structured knowledge transfer. We stay on call for the first two weeks post-launch. After that, your team owns a system they can actually operate. Handoff: runbooks, observability dashboard, post-launch support window. ## Where another model fits better - **Your problem is genuinely simple.** If a Claude Code session or a no-code tool can solve it cleanly and you don't need multi-tenancy, RBAC, or production-grade observability, use that. We will tell you this honestly in the first call. - **You need to validate an idea, not build a system.** For early validation, a prototype built with AI tooling is better than an engineered solution. Come back when you've validated and need to build it properly. - **You need capacity inside your existing team structure.** If you have your own engineering leadership and sprint process and need developers to plug into it, that's staff augmentation, and there are firms that do it very well. Our model is different: we own the architecture and delivery outcome end to end. If you need to direct the engineering yourself, we're not the right fit, but we can point you toward firms that are. - **You need a 20-person team from day one.** We are deliberately small and take 2–3 engagements simultaneously.
