7Unit Innovations LLC-FZ and 7Unit Softwares Pvt Ltd (together, 7Unit, we, us) operate this website at www.7unit.tech. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you interact with us through our website, contact or lead forms, scheduling tools, or direct communications.

We aim to align our practices with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act 2023, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 where applicable. By using our website or submitting information, you acknowledge this policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We use it only for the purposes described here and in any separate agreement we sign with clients.

Information we collect

Contact and scheduling

When you book a call, send a brief, or use our contact flows, we may collect:

  • Name and work email address
  • Company name (if provided)
  • Message or project brief
  • Scheduling metadata from our calendar provider (e.g. selected slot, timezone)

Meta lead ads

If you submit a lead form through our advertisements on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram), we may receive the fields you provide in that form (for example name, email, company, phone number, and any challenge or interest selections). Transfer is governed by Meta's lead mechanisms and your consent at submission.

Website analytics and advertising measurement

We use Plausible Analytics (privacy-first, lightweight) and, when configured, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and the Meta Pixel to understand traffic, measure journeys, and evaluate our own advertising on www.7unit.tech. Plausible is designed to minimise personal data collection. GA4 is provided by Google and may use cookies or similar technologies as described in Google's documentation. The Meta Pixel is provided by Meta Platforms and uses cookies or similar technologies to collect device and usage information, including when you arrive from our ads. GA4 and the Meta Pixel only load when we configure the relevant identifiers for the site.

Project and engagement data

For active and prospective clients, we may process email correspondence, requirements, meeting notes (with consent where needed), technical materials you share, and billing data under contract.

How we use your information

  • Respond to inquiries — including contact form, async brief, Meta leads, and email.
  • Schedule and host calls — through our calendar integration (e.g. Cal.com).
  • Deliver services — under a written statement of work or contract.
  • Improve the website — using aggregated analytics (Plausible and, when enabled, Google Analytics 4).
  • Measure and improve our advertising — when the Meta Pixel is enabled, to understand whether our campaigns drive visits, leads, and bookings (see Meta Pixel).
  • Legal and security — to comply with law, enforce terms, and protect rights.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for their independent marketing lists. Where we use the Meta Pixel, it is to measure and improve our ownadvertising, under Meta's terms and your platform privacy controls — not to resell your contact details.

Data sharing and disclosure

We share data only with processors and partners who help us run the business, under appropriate terms:

  • Hosting and infrastructure — e.g. Vercel for the website and related functions.
  • Scheduling — e.g. Cal.com (or linked calendar provider) when you book a call.
  • Analytics — Plausible (see Plausible privacy policy) and Google (see Google privacy policy) when Google Analytics 4 is enabled.
  • Meta — for Meta lead ads and, when enabled, the Meta Pixel on our website (see Meta privacy policy and below).
  • Content systems — Sanity.io for CMS; typically no visitor personal data beyond what editors publish.
  • Email and productivity tools — for operational communication.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of 7Unit, our clients, or others. A successor entity may receive data as part of a merger or acquisition; we will notify you where required.

Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram)

We may advertise on Meta platforms and use Meta tools in two ways: lead generation forms on those platforms, and the Meta Pixel on this website when configured. Both are described below.

Lead generation ads

When you submit a lead form attached to our Meta ads, Meta processes your submission under their policies. We receive the data you provide for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and assessing fit. Retention for lead data is typically up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete it sooner or we enter a client relationship governed by contract.

To exercise rights over Meta-held data, you may also use Meta's privacy controls. For data held by 7Unit from Meta leads, email hello@7unit.tech.

Meta Pixel (website)

When enabled, we place the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Technologies) on www.7unit.tech. It may record page views and certain actions on our site — for example when you complete a lead form, book a discovery call, or submit a project brief — so we can understand whether our advertising is effective and improve campaigns.

The Pixel uses cookies and similar technologies and may collect identifiers such as browser type, device information, pages visited, and referral source (including whether you clicked our ad). Meta may associate this with your Meta account if you are logged in or if Meta can match your browser. Processing is described in Meta's Privacy Policy and Meta's Cookie Policy.

You can limit ad tracking through Meta's Ad preferences, your device advertising settings, or browser controls that block third-party cookies. In the EEA, UK, UAE, and similar regions we ask for your consent before loading non-essential analytics and marketing technologies on this site.

We do not receive your Facebook or Instagram password through the Pixel. For questions about data 7Unit processes from forms on our site, email hello@7unit.tech.

International data transfers

We operate from India and the UAE and may serve clients globally. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other mechanisms recognised at the time of transfer. For India DPDP requirements, we assess cross-border transfers where the law applies.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law:

  • General enquiries and non-client leads — typically up to 24 months from last contact.
  • Client project records — as set out in our engagement agreement and applicable tax or legal rules.
  • Financial records — as required by applicable law (often multi-year retention).

You may request deletion earlier where the law allows; we will respond within a reasonable period (see below).

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

California: We do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA. You may still request disclosure or deletion as applicable.

To exercise a right, email hello@7unit.tech with the subject line Data Privacy Request. We will confirm receipt and respond within the timelines required by applicable law (typically within 30 days where GDPR-style rights apply).

EEA/UK individuals may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; we encourage you to contact us first so we can resolve the matter.

Cookies and tracking

When you first visit www.7unit.tech, we show a cookie consent banner. You can accept all, reject non-essential, or manage preferences by category. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage) so we can remember it on return visits. You can change it at any time using the button below or by clearing site data for this domain.

Necessary: always active — includes storing your consent choice and operating core site features.
Analytics (optional): Plausible Analytics and Google Analytics 4 — aggregated traffic and journey measurement; Plausible is privacy-oriented and does not use cross-site tracking cookies by default.
Marketing (optional): Meta Pixel — helps us measure and improve advertising on Meta platforms; uses cookies and may involve cross-site tracking as described by Meta.

Non-essential scripts load only after you grant the relevant category. This approach is intended to meet expectations under GDPR (EU/UK), UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 (PDPL), and similar laws. Embedded booking (Cal.com) may set cookies or similar technologies governed by that provider's policy when you interact with the embed, independent of our analytics and marketing categories.

You can also manage browser cookies in your browser settings and limit ad tracking through Meta and Google account or device controls linked in the Meta Pixel section above.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may be communicated by email to active contacts where appropriate.
